Bridge City is a perfect 10-0 against Jasper since September of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Cardinals will square off against the Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. Jasper took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Bridge City, who comes in off a win.

It was a proper cat-fight when Bridge City took on Silsbee on Friday. The Cardinals blew past the Tigers 3-0.

While Bridge City won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 25-16, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Jasper was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to Little Cypress-Mauriceville.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-9, 25-12.

Jasper's loss dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Bridge City, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 30-11 record this season.

Everything went Bridge City's way against Jasper when the teams last played back in September, as Bridge City made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cardinals since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
