Volleyball Recap: Leipsic's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Leipsic waltzed into their match on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Pandora-Gilboa Rockets by a score of 3-1. The Vikings have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Rockets, too.

Leipsic had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 26-28, 25-21, 25-15, 25-12.

Danaysia Danzy paced Leipsic's offense, picking up 25 kills. Danzy got some help from Karmyn Brough and her 45 assists. Sydney Apple and Kya Brandt kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with four aces apiece.

Leipsic's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Pandora-Gilboa, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Coming up, Leipsic will welcome Patrick Henry at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pandora-Gilboa, they are taking a road trip to challenge Bath at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
