Soccer Recap: Kimball Beats Inspired Vision for Their Fourth Straight Win

Kimball came tearing into Saturday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.7 goals) and they left with even more momentum. Their defense stepped up to hand the Inspired Vision EAGLES a 9-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won five games by six goals or more so far this season.

Lola Trevino and Alissa Talamantes scored all nine of Kimball's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 38 goals.

Kimball has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 36 goals over those six contests. As for Inspired Vision, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kimball will host Madison at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Kimball is facing Madison at the right time seeing as Madison is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Inspired Vision, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Kimball at 10:00 a.m. on March 10th.
