Softball Recap: West Bladen Knights vs. East Bladen Eagles
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Bladen). They were the clear victors by a 10-4 margin over the East Bladen Eagles on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Knights have posted against the Eagles since March 29, 2021.
Addison Wilcox and Kali Allen did most of the damage at the plate: Wilcox scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3, while Allen scored two runs while going 3-for-4. Jahyrah Priest was another key player, scoring a run while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
West Bladen hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as East Bladen struck out nine times.
