Recap: Pinewood Christian Patriots vs. Bulloch Academy Gators
The Pinewood Christian Patriots were the 36-34 winner over the Bulloch Academy Gators when they last played one another back in November of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Pinewood Christian fell to Bulloch Academy 22-16. Pinewood Christian has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Banks Booth threw for 50 yards on seven of 12 attempts.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bulloch Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Danye Garvin, who rushed for 125 yards on only 11 carries. Garvin has been hot recently, having posted 100 or more rushing yards the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ben Aaron, who rushed for 103 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries.
Pinewood Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Bulloch Academy, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.
Pinewood Christian will have plenty of time to ponder what went wrong as they've got a bye scheduled next week. After, they'll take on Brookwood at 7:30 p.m. on November 17th. Brookwood has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 144 points over their last three matchups. Bulloch Academy will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Westfield School at 7:30 p.m. on November 17th.
