After flying high against St. Michael the Archangel on Monday, Grove Christian School came back down to earth. The Falcons took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of The Carmel School Wildcats on Tuesday. The Falcons' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Grove Christian School was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made The Carmel School work for it, especially in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 17-25, 26-24, 25-21.

Grove Christian School's offense was headlined by Lexi Turner and Sidney Fisher, who picked up 11 kills apiece. They got some help from Anna Elban and her 25 assists.

Grove Christian School's defeat dropped their record down to 10-4. As for The Carmel School, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-6.

As for The Carmel School, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Guardian Christian Academy on the 18th.
