Softball Recap: Moline Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Riverdale, Moline was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Belleville East Lancers, sneaking past 6-4.

The team relied heavily on Lana Edkin, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024.

Moline's victory bumped their record up to 12-18. As for Belleville East, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 24-8.

Looking ahead, Moline will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Bellevue at 2:00 p.m. As for Belleville East, they will face off against Collinsville at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
