Basketball Recap: South St. Paul Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hill-Murray, South St. Paul was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They skirted past the Simley Spartans 39-36. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Packers have posted since December 20, 2024.

South St. Paul moved to 6-9 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Simley, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.

When South St. Paul and Simley next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. South St. Paul will try to stop Hastings' three-game winning streak when the meet at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Simley will square off against Southwest Christian and their three-game winning streak at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
