Soccer Recap: Westview Takes a Loss

Westview fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Huntingdon on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 4-3. It was the first time this season that Westview let down their fans at home.

Miguel Berrocal and Leonardo Gado scored all three of Westview's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 20 goals.

Westview's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 9-5. As for Huntingdon, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-7-1.

Westview does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Huntingdon, they will square off against McKenzie at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Huntingdon's defense better be ready for this one: McKenzie have averaged an impressive 4 goals per game this season.
