Soccer Recap: Edison Takes a Loss

The matchup between Edison and Notre Dame on Tuesday hardly resembled the 2-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Spartans lost 9-0 to the Crusaders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Notre Dame this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on September 8th.

Edison is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7. As for Notre Dame, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Edison is set to challenge their familiar foe Watkins Glen at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Notre Dame will face off against rival Candor at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
