Basketball Recap: Sonora Comes Up Short

Sonora was the 68-65 winner over Lodi when they last played one another back in January of 2020, but their luck changed this time around. The Sonora Wildcats took a blow against the Lodi Flames on Saturday, falling 75-27. The match marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

When it comes to explaining why Sonora lost, don't look at Steven Morfoot. Despite the final result, he posted nine points.

This is the second loss in a row for Sonora and nudges their season record down to 17-10. As for Lodi, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-8.

Sonora wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 70-68 loss against Ripon Christian on the 14th. As for Lodi, they have also already played their next match, a 66-65 victory against Tracy on the 12th.
