Basketball Game Preview: Mason County Royals vs. Adair County Indians

The Mason County Royals and the Adair County Indians will round out the year against one another at at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Mason County is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Conner just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Sunday. They lost 81-57 to the Cougars.

Meanwhile, Adair County was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Saturday as they fell 56-50 to Newport. The contest marked the Indians' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Mason County will have to contain Connor Loy as he made an impact in Adair County's last game. He went 11 of 16 on his way to 24 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brayton Coomer, who posted six points and five assists.

Adair County's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-3. As for Mason County, their loss dropped their record down to 5-2.
