Basketball Recap: Central Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from CHAUNCIONA DAVIS and LOVELY GABRIEL

On Friday, the Central Cobras lost to the North Florida Educational Institute Fighting Eagles on the road by a 58-44 margin. The Cobras have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

LOVELY GABRIEL and CHAUNCIONA DAVIS certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. GABRIEL dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten boards, while DAVIS posted 12 points. GABRIEL is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down ten or more in the last four games she's played.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for North Florida Educational Institute, the victory got them back to even at 11-11.

Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 70-43 loss against Bishop Moore on the 25th. North Florida Educational Institute has also already played their next contest, a 70-20 win against West Orange on the 25th.
