Memphis East hasn't lost a match since April 1st, a trend which continued in their latest game on Wednesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Freedom Prep Academy Eagles a 3-0 shutout. Considering Memphis East have won seven matches by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Freedom Prep Academy with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Evan Yow, Ethan Freeman, and Randy Butler.

Memphis East pushed their record up to 10-2-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those four games. As for Freedom Prep Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5-2.

Looking ahead, Memphis East will challenge Hillcrest at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Freedom Prep Academy, they will take on Memphis Business Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Freedom Prep Academy will need to watch out since Memphis Business Academy have now posted at least four goals in their last three contests.
