Strake Jesuit had won two straight games and John Hebert did his part to make it three on Thursday. The Fighting Crusaders were the clear victors by a 63-42 margin over the Alief Elsik Rams for which the team can thank Hebert, who rushed for 323 yards and six TDs while picking up 15.4 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his 19th straight game with at least 118 rushing yards dating back to last season.

Grayson Ochoa was another key player, rushing for 182 yards and one score while picking up 8.7 yards per carry. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 70-yard run.

Strake Jesuit's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Alief Elsik, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

Coming up, Strake Jesuit will venture away from home to challenge Fulshear at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Alief Elsik, they will host George Ranch at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Rams will be up against the Longhorns' rather soft defense (which has allowed 28 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
