Softball Recap: St. Joseph Academy's Losing Streak Snapped at Ten Games

St. Joseph Academy came into Tuesday's match having lost ten straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. Everything went their way against the Guajome Park Academy Frogs on Tuesday as they made off with a 13-2 win. That looming 13-2 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Crusaders yet this season.

Adley Fontaine was incredible, getting on base in three of her six plate appearances with seven stolen bases and three runs. Those seven stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Molly Tobin was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with four stolen bases and two runs.

St. Joseph Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. They are 3-1 when they post 11 or more hits.

St. Joseph Academy's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-8 and their overall record up to 3-11. As for Guajome Park Academy, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-15.
