It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Ennis had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 52-38 win over the Darby Tigers. The Mustangs' victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Despite the loss, Darby still got an impressive performance from McCoy Townsend, who rushed for 267 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 7.9 yards per carry, and also threw for 104 yards and one TD. Townsend is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 121 every time he's taken the field this season.

Ennis' win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Darby, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-3.

Looking ahead, Ennis will take on Fort Benton at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Mustangs will need to watch out since the Longhorns have now posted at least 31 points in their last eight games. Darby does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
