Baseball Recap: Tinley Park Takes a Loss

Tinley Park was the 6-0 winner over Richards when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Titans fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 9-8 on Friday. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brendan Draves was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. Another player making a difference was Danny Weed, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Tinley Park's defeat dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Richards, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 14-5.

Tinley Park has already played their next game (against Andrew), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Richards, they will take on Argo at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
