Football Game Recap: Newton vs. Grinnell

Newton had a bit more than a touchdown to spare in a 50-39 win over Grinnell.

The victory bumped Newton's record up to 5-3. The loss dropped Grinnell's record to 2-5.

Next week Newton take on Pella at 7:30 PM. Pella have averaged 45.75 points over the course of their past four games, so Newton might be in for a challenge. As for Grinnell, they will face off against South Tama County. South Tama County are limping into the game on a seven-game losing streak.
