Baseball Recap: South Panola Takes a Loss

South Panola and Neshoba Central squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but South Panola had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Rockets by a score of 3-2. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

South Panola's loss dropped their record down to 16-10. As for Neshoba Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-10 record this season.

While South Panola had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
