Football Recap: Princeton Falls Despite Big Games from Gerell Bogle and Teo Mcphatter + How To Watch

Princeton managed to slip by East Duplin the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bulldogs came up short against the Panthers on Friday, falling 42-20. The matchup was a 6-6 toss-up at halftime, but the Bulldogs couldn't quite close it out.

Princeton's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Teo McPhatter, who rushed for 145 yards and a pair of TDs, and Gerell Bogle, who rushed for 139 yards and one touchdown while picking up 8.7 yards per carry. McPhatter's rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 119 rushing yards dating back to last season.

Princeton's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for East Duplin, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Princeton will be playing in front of their home fans against Seaforth at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for East Duplin, they are taking a road trip to challenge Richlands at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
