Volleyball Game Preview: High Tech Mesa Thunder vs. Liberty Charter Lions

The High Tech Mesa Thunder are taking a road trip to challenge the Liberty Charter Lions at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Thursday, High Tech Mesa came up short against Victory Christian Academy and fell 3-1. While the Thunder didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Knights 25-19 in the first set.

High Tech Mesa started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-22, 25-21, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Liberty Charter came up short against Chula Vista Learning Community Charter on Friday, falling 3-0. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-21, 25-7.

Liberty Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 6-14-1. As for High Tech Mesa, their loss dropped their record down to 11-10.

Everything went High Tech Mesa's way against Liberty Charter in their previous matchup back in September, as High Tech Mesa made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Thunder since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
