Baseball Recap: John Paul II Catholic Comes Up Short

John Paul II Catholic lost against Bear Grass Charter back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Saints fell 8-3 to the Bears.

John Paul II Catholic saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was JT Williams, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI. Jonas Davis also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

John Paul II Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Bear Grass Charter, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-1.

John Paul II Catholic didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 21-6 victory against Epiphany on the 25th. As for Bear Grass Charter, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 17-0 win against Mattamuskeet on the 25th.
