Franklin proved they can win big on Monday (they won by 12) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Hayesville Yellowjackets, sneaking past 7-6. The win continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Yellowjackets: they've now won four in a row.

Anderson Terrell was incredible, going 2-for-4 with three stolen bases and three runs. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Addix Sutton, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.

Franklin's victory bumped their record up to 3-0.

Franklin wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, an 11-0 defeat against St. Stephens on the 6th. As for Hayesville, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-0 loss against Union County on the 5th.
