Baseball Recap: Placer Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Placer, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They came out on top against the Enochs Eagles by a score of 5-1 on Friday. That's more bragging rights for the Hillmen, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Placer got a great performance from Jayson Glatt as he didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Devin Knight was excellent, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3. Another player making a difference was Jack Addison, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double.

The victory got Placer back to even at 1-1. As for Enochs, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Placer wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 8-3 win against River City on the 1st. As for Enochs, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 4-1 victory against Tokay on the 1st.
