Basketball Game Recap: Hancock Eagles vs. Kennedy Crusaders

This season hasn't been kind to the Hancock Eagles, who are still winless after their 12th game. They fell 59-50 to Kennedy on Thursday. Hancock has not had much luck with Kennedy recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.

It was another big night for Joseph Dahl, who scored 22 points along with five rebounds for Kennedy. That makes it four consecutive games in which Dahl has scored at least 25% of Kennedy's points. Another player making a difference was Michael Gallas, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.

Hancock's loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Kennedy, their win bumped their record up to 3-6.

Hancock will be home for the holidays to greet Gage Park at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Gage Park is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak. Kennedy is on the road again on Friday and play against Blue Island Eisenhower at 7:00 p.m. on December 15th. Blue Island Eisenhower knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past five matchups -- so hopefully Kennedy likes a good challenge.
