Volleyball Recap: Kimball Takes a Loss

Kimball lost against Perkins County on Saturday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Longhorns took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Plainsmen.

The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 11-25, 25-17, 25-19.

Despite the loss, Kimball still got an impressive performance from Hannah Kilgore, who had ten digs and one assist. Kilgore is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Kimball's loss was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 11-17. As for Perkins County, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-15 record this season.

Kimball has already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Gordon-Rushville on the 27th. As for Perkins County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Mitchell on the 28th.
