Silver Lake Regional barely beat Hingham the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Lakers' pitchers stepped up to hand the Harbormen an 11-0 shutout on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Lakers, who have now won 14 matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

The win made it two in a row for Silver Lake Regional and bumps their season record up to 15-2. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 0 runs in those games. As for Hingham, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Silver Lake Regional will welcome Wachusett Regional at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Hingham, they will be playing in front of their home fans against North Quincy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
