Baseball Recap: Twin Valley Wins Going Away Against Daniel Boone

Twin Valley was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Daniel Boone on Monday. The Raiders blew past the Blazers 11-1. The Raiders have beaten the Blazers the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Blazers has come to flipping the script.

Kooper Zdimal spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on three hits. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Twin Valley is undefeated when he allows at most one walk, but 1-2 otherwise.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Logan Crunk, who scored three runs while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Nate Lord, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-5.

Twin Valley's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Daniel Boone, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.

Twin Valley is taking a road trip to square off against Conrad Weiser at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Daniel Boone, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Muhlenberg at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
