Armwood won the last time they faced Freedom and things went their way on Thursday too. The Armwood Hawks blew past the Freedom Patriots 19-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Hawks.

Dichelle Walker looked comfortable as she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-low in earned runs (zero).

On the hitting side, Azaria Hall was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Justine Smith was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-4.

Armwood always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .744. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Freedom only posted an OBP of .429.

Armwood's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Freedom, their record now sits at 0-2.
