Basketball Recap: Granite City Wins Going Away Against Dupo

On Tuesday, the Granite City Warriors made easy work of the Dupo Tigers and carried off a 39-19 victory.

Despite the loss, Dupo still got an impressive performance from Lily McMannis, who posted three points and eight rebounds.

Granite City's win bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Dupo, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.

Granite City has already played their next game, a 60-21 loss against Mater Dei on the 15th. As for Dupo, they will square off against Marissa/Coulterville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Marissa/Coulterville has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
