Basketball Recap: Somerset Academy Key Lions vs. Lake Worth Christian Defenders

After a string of three wins, the Somerset Academy Key Lions's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. Their rough 58-32 defeat to Lake Worth Christian might stick with them for a while. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Somerset Academy Key has scored all season.

Despite the defeat, Somerset Academy Key saw an underclassman step up: Hatem Chehade scored 17 points along with five rebounds and two blocks. It was the first time this season that Chehade posted two or more blocks. Santiago Acevedo was another key contributor, scoring six points.

Somerset Academy Key's loss dropped their record down to 10-14. As for Lake Worth Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season.
