Soccer Recap: St. James' Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak on the Road

The home team had won the previous four meetings between St. James and North Myrtle Beach, and North Myrtle Beach kept the tradition alive. The Sharks took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chiefs on Wednesday. St. James were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced North Myrtle Beach earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

St. James' loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-8. As for North Myrtle Beach, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-5.

Coming up, St. James is taking a road trip to take on Oceanside Collegiate Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Oceanside Collegiate Academy's defense has only allowed 0.4 goals per game this season, so St. James' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for North Myrtle Beach, they will host Myrtle Beach at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
