Basketball Game Preview: Kingston Redskins vs. Idabel Warriors

The Kingston Redskins are taking a road trip to square off against the Idabel Warriors at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.

Kingston will head out to face Idabel after giving up their first home loss of the season on Friday. Kingston took a 45-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of Madill. The Redskins were down 36-16 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Meanwhile, Idabel was able to grind out a solid win over McAlester on Saturday, taking the game 52-39. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 126th, while the Buffaloes are ranked 362nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory made it two in a row for Idabel and bumps their season record up to 7-5. As for Kingston, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-5.

Kingston was able to grind out a solid win over Idabel in their previous matchup last Tuesday, winning 48-40. The rematch might be a little tougher for Kingston since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
