Basketball Recap: Coram Deo Academy Lions vs. Heritage Christian Eagles
Coram Deo Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 59-34 to the Heritage Christian Eagles. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2017.
Heritage Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Chris King, who went 6 for 14 en route to 18 points. Hudson Mullen was another key player, posting ten points plus five steals.
Coram Deo Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Heritage Christian, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Coram Deo Academy will take on Harvest Christian Academy in a tournament on Thursday. As for Heritage Christian, they will take on Lakehill Prep at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
