Basketball Recap: Triton Continues Home Dominance on Saturday

Triton entered their tilt with Caston on Saturday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They took down the Caston Comets 46-28. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Trojans also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Several Comets players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Logan Mollenkopf, who posted 11 points.

Triton's win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-3. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.8 points over those games. As for Caston, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-10.

Triton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 35-18 victory against Trinity Greenlawn on the 11th. As for Caston, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 54-44 win against Argos on the 11th.
