Volleyball Recap: Bangs Dragons vs. Abilene Christian Panthers
Bangs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Abilene Christian Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Dragons of the 3-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-13, 23-25, 25-14.
Abilene Christian can attribute much of their success to Faith Dow, who had 17 digs.
Bangs' loss dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Abilene Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 21-16 record this season.
After both having extra time off, Bangs and Hawley will dust off their jerseys to face off against one another at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hawley will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something Bangs surely won't give up without a fight. Abilene Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
