Volleyball Recap: East Lawrence Comes Up Short

East Lawrence lost against Curry back in August of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Eagles fell 2-0 to the Yellowjackets. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Macey Austin paced East Lawrence's offense, picking up six kills. Austin got some help from Cheyenne Hackett and her nine assists.

East Lawrence now has a losing record of 13-14. As for Curry, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 21-8.

East Lawrence wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Lindsay Lane Christian Academy on the 27th. Curry has also already played their next contest (against Decatur Heritage Christian Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
