Volleyball Recap: South Park Takes a Loss + How To Watch

South Park lost against Monte Vista back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Burros fell 3-1 to the Pirates.

The final score came out to 25-14, 23-25, 25-14, 25-17.

Monte Vista was led to victory by Abbi Ortega and Trinatty Romero. Ortega had 14 assists and seven digs, while Romero had four digs and four aces. Those four aces gave Romero a new career-high. Krissa Padilla also deserves some recognition as she had her first kills of the season.

South Park's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Monte Vista, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-4.

Coming up, South Park will host Del Norte at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Monte Vista, they will face off against Sierra Grande at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
