Volleyball Recap: Kaia Stricklin and Adrianne Ryan Secure Win for Tomball

Tomball had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They put the hurt on the Klein Forest Eagles with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Tomball was: they took every set by at least 14 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-11, 25-9.

Leading Tomball to victory were Adrianne Ryan and Kaia Stricklin. Ryan had nine aces and six digs, while Stricklin had 18 assists and three aces. Those nine aces gave Ryan a new career-high.

They weren't the only good servers: Tomball was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Tomball's record now sits at 37-6. As for Klein Forest, their defeat was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-24.

Looking ahead, Tomball will square off against Waller at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Klein Forest does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
