Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Kaia Stricklin and Adrianne Ryan Lead Tomball to Victory

Tomball waltzed into their match on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Klein Forest Eagles. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Tomball took every set by at least 14 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-11, 25-9.

Leading Tomball to victory were Adrianne Ryan and Kaia Stricklin. Ryan had nine aces and six digs, while Stricklin had 18 assists and three aces. That's the most digs Ryan has posted since back in September.

They weren't the only good servers: Tomball was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 16 consecutive matchups.

Tomball's record is now 37-6. As for Klein Forest, their defeat was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-24.

As of now, neither Tomball nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
