Basketball Recap: Marysville Getchell Extends Winning Streak to Five

Marysville Getchell won the last time they faced Everett and things went their way on Tuesday too. Marysville Getchell blew past the Everett Seagulls 63-40. Winning may never get old, but Marysville Getchell sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Marysville Getchell had a senior duo take command as Wyatt Harris went 7 for 16 en route to 17 points along with six boards and four steals and Arion Palacol went 6 of 8 on his way to 19 points. The contest was Palacol's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Zach Rice was another key player, putting up nine points.

Marysville Getchell is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. As for Everett, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season.

Marysville Getchell wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 51-37 loss against Monroe on the 31st. Everett has also already played their next match, a 68-24 win against Marysville-Pilchuck on the 31st.
