Basketball Recap: Union City Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Union City faced off against Fletcher on Saturday. The Union City Tigers took a 49-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fletcher Wildcats. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 50-44 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

This is the second loss in a row for Union City and nudges their season record down to 2-7. As for Fletcher, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-8.

Union City and Hydro-Eakly will compete for holiday cheer at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fletcher, they will be home for the holidays to greet Alex at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
