Rocky Mountain had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 runs) and they went ahead and made it nine on Monday. They put the hurt on the ThunderRidge Grizzlies with a sharp 9-3 victory. The Lobos might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 games by six runs or more this season.

Kai Wagner looked comfortable as he struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). Those seven strikeouts gave him a new career-high.

At the plate, Rocky Mountain got a massive performance out of Erik Jacobson, who went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Bradley Mallette, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs.

Rocky Mountain always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .514. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as ThunderRidge only posted an OBP of .355.

Rocky Mountain pushed their record up to 18-5 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for ThunderRidge, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 13 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-16 record this season.

As of now, neither Rocky Mountain nor ThunderRidge have any future games scheduled.
