Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cactus). They snuck past the Estrella Foothills Wolves with a 76-72 victory on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Cobras in their matchups with the Wolves: they've now won six in a row.

Despite the loss, Estrella Foothills saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Brayden Chojnowski went 10 of 18 on his way to 29 points along with seven boards and three blocks. The dominant performance gave Chojnowski a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tony Lopez, who went 6 for 15 to rack up 19 points and five rebounds.

Cactus' record is now 7-16. As for Estrella Foothills, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-14.

Coming up, Cactus won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Deer Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Deer Valley will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Cactus surely won't give up without a fight. As for Estrella Foothills, they will head out to face off against Mingus at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Estrella Foothills is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.9 points per game this season.
