Baseball Recap: Glenvar Falls Short of Dan River in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Glenvar can now relate to. They fell just short of the Dan River Wildcats by a score of 1-0 on Thursday. If the Highlanders were looking for revenge after losing 9-2 to the Wildcats when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Glenvar's defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-12. As for Dan River, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Glenvar nor Dan River have any future games scheduled.
