Baseball Recap: First Assembly Christian Comes Up Short

First Assembly Christian was the 5-1 winner over Evangelical Christian when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Crusaders came up short against the Eagles on Monday, falling 12-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Crusaders have suffered against the Eagles since April 26, 2021.

First Assembly Christian saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was William Lee, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

First Assembly Christian has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 14 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-16-1 record this season. As for Evangelical Christian, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-7.

While First Assembly Christian had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
