Volleyball Recap: Hunter's Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Green Canyon, Hunter was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Kearns Cougars 3-2. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Wolverines as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.

Hunter's win bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Kearns, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Hunter will welcome West Jordan at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. West Jordan will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Hunter surely won't give up without a fight. As for Kearns, they are taking a road trip to square off against Cyprus at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Kearns is facing Cyprus at the right time seeing as Cyprus is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
