Volleyball Recap: Hanahan Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Hanahan extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Caitlyn Manus. The Hawks blew past the Fort Dorchester Patriots 3-0 on Tuesday with plenty of help from Manus, who had six digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last four games she's played.

While Hanahan won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-20, 25-23.

The victory got Hanahan back to even at 12-12-2. As for Fort Dorchester, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 13 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-13-1 record this season.

After both having extra time off, Hanahan and Dillon will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Fort Dorchester, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Berkeley on the 15th.
