Basketball Game Preview: Ida Crown Jewish Academy Aces vs. IC Catholic Prep Knights

The Ida Crown Jewish Academy Aces will face off against the IC Catholic Prep Knights at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday. Ida Crown Jewish Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.9 points per game this season.

Last Monday, Ida Crown Jewish Academy was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 49-48 to Chicago Hope Academy.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Daria Lennon, who posted 23 points. That's the most points she has posted since back in February of 2024. Talia Linzer was another key player, putting up 14 points.

Meanwhile, IC Catholic Prep was able to grind out a solid victory over De La Salle on Tuesday, taking the game 35-28. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Knights.

Ida Crown Jewish Academy's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-4. As for IC Catholic Prep, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.
